  • Account Information: Username, email address, password (hashed), first/last name, and profile image when registering via email/password or Google OAuth
  • Queries & Content: Questions, prompts, and messages you submit to AI models, Live AI Debates, Team Queries sessions, and Query Chains
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe — we never store your credit card information directly
  • Communications: Messages sent via contact forms, bug reports, and support requests (to contact@sentientlattice.ai and bugs@sentientlattice.ai)
  • Profile Preferences: Tone preferences, prompt enhancement history, and feature settings

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

  • Usage Analytics: Platform interactions, feature usage, and page views via Plausible Analytics (privacy-focused, no personal data)
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and session identifiers
  • Service Metrics: AI model performance data, response times, quality scores, and disagreement analysis metrics
  • Conversation Data: Query history, AI responses, SLI™ analysis results, debate transcripts, and conversation threading
  • Karma & Participation: Genesis Karma Protocol™ activity, contribution scores, and tier progression
  • Advertising Data: Google AdSense may collect anonymized data for ad personalization (Pro and Max subscribers are ad-free)

3.2 Platform Improvement

3.3 Communications

  • Sending transactional emails via Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): welcome emails, email verification, subscription confirmations, cancellation notices, and auto-replies to contact/bug submissions
  • Service updates and important platform notices
  • Subscription billing notifications

3.4 Business Operations

  • Processing Free and Pro ($12.99/mo) subscriptions. The Max tier ($49.99/mo) is coming soon and is not yet available for purchase.
  • Enforcing Terms of Service, usage limits, and detecting misuse
  • Generating aggregated, anonymized analytics for business decisions

Information Sharing & Disclosure

4.1 Third-Party AI Services

Your queries are sent to the following AI providers for processing:

  • OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4.1, ChatGPT 5, o3) — subject to OpenAI's privacy policy
  • Anthropic (Claude 4.5 Haiku, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6 Thinking) — subject to Anthropic's privacy policy
  • Google AI (Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, Gemini 2.5 Pro) — subject to Google's privacy policy
  • xAI (Grok 4) — subject to xAI's privacy policy

We recommend reviewing these providers' privacy policies for their data handling practices.

4.2 Service Providers

  • Stripe: Payment processing (no query content shared)
  • Brevo: Transactional email delivery (receives recipient email and name only)
  • Plausible Analytics: Privacy-focused website analytics (no personal data, no cookies)
  • Google AdSense: Ad serving for Free tier users (Pro/Max are ad-free)

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sentient Lattice™ LLC, our users, or the public.

4.4 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5.1 Security Measures

5.2 Data Limitations

While we implement robust security measures, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using industry best practices and continuously improving our security posture.

Data Retention

6.1 Retention Periods

  • Query & Conversation Data: Retained while account is active plus 90 days after deletion
  • AI Response Cache: Database-backed caching for performance, periodically purged
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized, retained indefinitely for business analytics
  • Account Data: Deleted within 30 days of account closure request
  • Payment Records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
  • Webhook & Audit Logs: Retained for 12 months for security and debugging

6.2 Data Deletion

Users can request complete deletion of their data by emailing contact@sentientlattice.ai. Some aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for business purposes.

Your Privacy Rights

7.1 Access & Control

  • Access: View your query history, conversation data, and usage analytics through your account
  • Correction: Update your profile information and account details at any time
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export: Download your conversation history and query data
  • Opt-Out: Manage email communication preferences

7.2 California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise CCPA rights, contact us at contact@sentientlattice.ai.

7.3 European Residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest and contractual necessity. Contact us at contact@sentientlattice.ai for GDPR requests.

8.2 Analytics

Plausible Analytics — privacy-focused, no cookies, no personal data collection. Helps us understand usage patterns without compromising privacy.

8.3 Advertising (Free Tier Only)

Google AdSense may use cookies for ad personalization on the Free tier. Pro and Max subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience. You can manage ad personalization through Google's Ad Settings.

Children's Privacy

Sentient Lattice™ is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. If we become aware of such collection, we will promptly delete the information and terminate the associated account. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information should contact us at privacy@sentientlattice.ai.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers in compliance with applicable privacy laws including standard contractual clauses where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and protecting the security of our platform

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account or request deletion
  • Query history: Retained until you delete individual queries or your account
  • Forum posts: Retained until deleted by you or removed by moderation
  • Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security purposes
  • Cookie consent preferences: Stored locally on your device until you clear browser data

These rights are provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar rights may be available under the privacy laws of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Nebraska, Minnesota, Maryland, Utah, and other states.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit a privacy rights request through any of the following methods:

We will verify your identity before processing your request and respond within 45 days (with a possible 45-day extension for complex requests). We will not charge a fee for processing your request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Section 20

Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat this as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and we will not load advertising cookies or scripts.

We do not currently respond to the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal, as there is no universally accepted standard for DNT. However, our GPC support provides equivalent or greater privacy protection.

Section 21

Automated Decision-Making

Our platform uses AI models to process your queries and generate responses. This processing is the core function of our service and is performed at your request. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects concerning you, beyond the AI query responses you explicitly request.

Section 22

Children's Privacy

Sentient Lattice™ is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to promptly delete that information and terminate the associated account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@sentientlattice.ai and we will delete the information promptly.

Section 23

Additional Disclosures for California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific privacy rights as described in the Your Privacy Rights section above.

Shine the Light Law: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): In accordance with CalOPPA, this privacy policy is conspicuously linked from every page of our website via the "Privacy Policy" link in the site footer. This policy is updated at least annually, and the effective date is displayed at the top of this page.

Financial Incentives: Our premium subscription tiers provide enhanced service features (additional queries, advanced AI models) in exchange for a fee. These tiers do not require you to provide additional personal information beyond what is collected in the free tier. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for the collection, sale, or retention of personal information.

International Users

Sentient Lattice™ is operated from the United States and is primarily intended for users within the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

Section 25

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, provide additional notice (such as a banner on our website or an email notification). We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
