Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Sentient Lattice™ ("the Platform," "the Service," or "we/us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers across all tiers of service.

Description of Service

Sentient Lattice™ is a multi-AI collaboration and analysis platform that simultaneously queries multiple artificial intelligence models to deliver comparative insights, quality scoring, and consensus analysis. The Platform includes:

• Multi-AI Query Engine — Parallel querying of up to 10 AI models with comparative response analysis
• SLI™ (Sentient Lattice Intellect System) — Proprietary 8-protocol reasoning engine for consensus detection, deep analysis, quality scoring, and strategic recommendations
• Live AI Debate Engine™ — Real-time AI model discourse with analytics for emotional tone, argument quality, participation balance, and topic diversity
• Prompt Enhancement — AI-powered prompt rewriting across 6 tones (Professional, Academic, Creative, Simplified, Technical, Provocative)
• Query Templates — 8 domain-specific research protocol templates (Legal, Medical, Business Strategy, Technical, Academic, Creative, Financial, Ethical)
• Team Queries — Collaborative query sessions with share codes and multi-user contributions
• Query Chains — Multi-step research flows where AI consensus feeds into subsequent queries
• Model Performance Dashboard — Per-user AI model quality, speed, and detail analytics
• PDF Intelligence Reports — Branded downloadable reports with visual quality scores, model comparison tables, and disagreement analysis
• Sentient Lattice Karma Protocol™ — Community participation and governance system

User Accounts & Registration

3.1. Guest Access: Visitors may access limited Platform features without creating an account. Guest usage is tracked via session-based identifiers.

3.2. Account Creation: Users may register using email/password or via Google OAuth. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

3.3. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.4. Email Verification: Certain features may require email verification. Unverified accounts may have restricted access.

3.5. Prohibited Conduct: Accounts may not be used for illegal activities, harassment, spam, circumventing usage limits, automated scraping, reverse engineering, or any activity that violates the rights of others.

Subscription Tiers & Usage Limits

The Platform operates on a three-tier subscription model:

4.1. Fair Use: All tiers are subject to fair use policies. Automated, abusive, or excessive usage beyond your tier limits may result in throttling or account suspension.

4.2. Tier Changes: You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Payment Terms

5.1. Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $12.99 unless cancelled. The Max tier ($49.99/month) is not yet available for purchase; billing for Max will commence only when the tier officially launches. All prices are in USD.

5.2. Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Sentient Lattice™ does not store your credit card or payment information directly.

5.3. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.

5.4. Refunds: Refunds may be provided at Sentient Lattice™'s discretion for unused subscription periods. Contact support for refund requests.

5.5. Price Changes: Subscription prices may be adjusted with a minimum of 30 days advance notice communicated to active subscribers via email.

Intellectual Property

6.1. Platform Ownership: Sentient Lattice™, including its brand, SLI™ (Sentient Lattice Intellect System), Live AI Debate Engine™, Sentient Lattice Karma Protocol™, user interface designs, and proprietary algorithms, are owned by Sentient Lattice™ LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6.2. User Content: You retain ownership of all queries, uploaded files, and content you submit. By using the Platform, you grant Sentient Lattice™ a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store your content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

6.3. AI-Generated Responses: AI-generated responses are derived from third-party models and are provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are responsible for independently verifying the accuracy of all AI outputs before relying on them.

Privacy & Data Protection

7.1. Data Collection: We collect the minimum data necessary for service operation, account management, and platform improvement as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.2. Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure session management, CSRF protection, XSS prevention, rate limiting, and HTTP security headers.

7.3. Third-Party AI Providers: Queries submitted through the Platform are processed by third-party AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI) according to their respective privacy policies and data handling practices.

7.4. Data Retention: User data is retained only as long as necessary for service provision, analytics improvement, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support.

7.5. Cookies & Session Data: The Platform uses cookies and session identifiers for authentication, usage tracking, and experience personalization.

Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

8.1. "As Is" Service: The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without guarantees of uptime, availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.

8.2. AI Accuracy: AI responses are generated by third-party models and may contain inaccuracies, biases, outdated information, or errors. Scores, analysis, and consensus metrics produced by SLI™ are algorithmic assessments and do not represent guaranteed truth or professional judgment.

8.3. No Professional Advice: The AI-generated content provided by Sentient Lattice™ does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of licensed advice. All responses are intended solely for informational and educational purposes to help users gain additional insights and make better-informed decisions. Sentient Lattice™ is not responsible for any consequences, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from users acting upon, relying on, or making decisions based on AI-generated responses provided through this Service.

8.4. Consult Licensed Professionals: Users are strongly advised to consult a licensed attorney, certified financial advisor, medical professional, or other qualified expert before making any significant legal, financial, medical, or business decisions. AI-generated responses should be treated as supplementary information and should never serve as a substitute for professional counsel.

8.5. User Responsibility: Users acknowledge and accept full responsibility for how they interpret and act upon the information provided by this Service. By using Sentient Lattice™, you agree that you will independently verify any information and seek appropriate professional guidance before taking action on matters with legal, financial, medical, or other significant consequences.

8.6. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentient Lattice™'s total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

8.7. No Warranties: The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8.8. Hold Harmless & Waiver of Liability: By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to hold harmless and not hold liable Sentient Lattice LLC, its partners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, or any other intangible losses, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether Sentient Lattice LLC was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Community & Conduct

9.1. Community Features: The Platform includes community features such as forums, karma systems, and collaborative tools. Users must engage respectfully and constructively.

9.2. Prohibited Content: Users may not post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or discrimination.

9.3. Moderation: Sentient Lattice™ reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate community guidelines without prior notice.

Termination

10.1. User Termination: You may stop using the Platform at any time and cancel your subscription through your account settings.

10.2. Platform Termination: Sentient Lattice™ may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abusive behavior, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

10.3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to paid features ceases immediately. Your data may be deleted in accordance with our retention policy. Any remaining subscription period is non-refundable unless otherwise determined at our discretion.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

11.1. Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Sentient Lattice™ LLC operates.

11.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11.3. Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

Sentient Lattice™ reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Age Requirement

Sentient Lattice™ is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. By creating an account or using our service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age. If you are under 16, you may not use this service.

If we become aware that a user is under 16 years of age, we will promptly terminate their account and delete their personal information in accordance with applicable law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All responses displayed on Sentient Lattice™ are generated by third-party artificial intelligence models. No responses on this platform are written by humans.

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases, outdated information, or fabricated details. Sentient Lattice™ does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated response.

AI-generated responses do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions involving health, safety, legal matters, or financial matters. For full details, see our AI Disclaimer.

By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that you use AI-generated content at your own risk and that Sentient Lattice™ shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on AI-generated content.

Data Sharing with AI Providers

When you submit a query, your query text is transmitted to one or more third-party AI model providers for processing. Each provider has its own data handling practices, privacy policies, and terms of service. By using Sentient Lattice™, you acknowledge and consent to this data sharing. We cannot control how third-party AI providers process, store, or use query data once it has been transmitted to them.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, financial account numbers, social security numbers, or other confidential data in your queries.

User Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of the queries you submit and the content you create (forum posts, collaborative sessions, debate topics). By submitting content, you grant Sentient Lattice™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.

AI Responses: Ownership of AI-generated content is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective AI model providers. Sentient Lattice™ does not claim ownership of AI-generated responses. Your right to use AI-generated content may be subject to the usage policies of the underlying AI providers.

Copyright Infringement: We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy or contact us at legal@sentientlattice.ai.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We may, at our sole discretion, terminate the account of any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Sentient Lattice™ to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to circumvent AI safety filters or content moderation systems
• Generate content that exploits, harms, or attempts to exploit or harm minors
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the service to develop competing AI products or to extract training data
• Scrape, data-mine, or systematically download content from the platform
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTIENT LATTICE™, ITS OWNER, OPERATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE;
• ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT;
• ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration shall be conducted in Riverside County, California, unless the parties agree otherwise.

Class Action Waiver: YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If this specific provision is found to be unenforceable, the entirety of this arbitration section shall be null and void.

Exceptions: Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in court for matters related to intellectual property rights or unauthorized access to the service.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to legal@sentientlattice.ai within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times or without interruption. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice through the service. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
